A great weekend with good friends!

Last weekend our good friends we travel with over the summer, the Bridgham's from Texas and the Sather's from California were able to come out for a visit. All of the kids (all only a few months apart) got along great and we only had a few sharing mishaps.

The first order of business, for the guys of course, was to get the basketball hoop up. They rented some manly tool from Home Depot to be able to drill into the concrete and attach the base of the pole. The hoop is up and finished and I have to admit it looks much better now that it's not just a big slab of concrete in my backyard. I didn't take any pictures after it was up so that will be on my to do list this week. That's Matt doing the drilling and Chris is to the far right. Trey had to be in on what all of the Daddy's were doing.

We found the kids playing all by themselves and pretending to be night, night.

Alexis, Trey, and Cooper ready for a walk on a cool evening! Breaking in the new double stroller, which was one of the best deals I have ever found on Craigslist! Sixty bucks and it's practically brand new!

Avery and Alexis on the swings. The Daddy's finished the playset just in time for the birthday party too!

Tara and Alexis with baby Dax Sather who was only 4 weeks old! Alexis had to be "up" as soon as Mommy sat down with Dax. She then started rubbing his back and telling him "sshhhh". It was pretty cute. I do wonder how she will react in about 4 weeks when our own new little one is here.

Snack time! We found that one bowl of grapes and one bowl of crackers does not work for 3 toddlers. Everyone had to have their own bowl. And boy did they keep track of which bowl belonged to which child.

Such good buddies! Thanks, friends, for coming to visit. We miss you all very much!
