On Saturday our church had its annual Turkey Bowl, a flag football tournament for the men. Of course Alex was involved and after only one game he hurt his knee. A trip to the urgent care confirmed that it is a tear in his MCL. He will go for an MRI this week to find out how bad it is and whether or not surgery is needed. We are praying that it is only a slight tear and that he will be back to normal within 2 weeks with just ice and rest! I'll update after we find out more news.

NO! not now! a couple years ago at our turkey bowl we had a seperated shoulder (he's since had to have surgery that put him OUT OF WORK for a few months) and a broken nose. those guys take it a little too seriously! I never know if it's cause the only time they go all out is then so they go crazy or if they're just out of shape and shouldn't be tempting fate! hope he feels better!
