Next Stop Dallas

After 3 days of wedding festivities we drove to Dallas to meet up with the Sathers at the Bridgham's house for the next week. We had a great time visiting with our friends we miss very much. The kids (all the same ages) had a great time running wild and managed to get along well for the most part.

This picture was taken at the Phoenix airport. Alexis got a suprise Dora Backpack when we got to the airport which was packed with all sorts of fun airplane activities. She was very excited about the backpack but, as expected, Alex and I ended up carrying it more than she did!

Our first day was spent at the Aquarium. I thought this was a cute picture of Avery and Alexis holding hands and holding their daddy's hands.

The three girls, Alexis, Gabby, and Avery.

A rare shot of the family all together! The first part of the aquarium was actually more like a rain forest.

Alexis looking up at the Monkeys and laughing while Alex is making Monkey noises.

Gabriela looking at the turtles.

There was a cool shark tunnel where the sharks are all around you and above you. Alexis wasn't sure what to think when they came right by her!

All three of the big kids! Trey, Alexis, Avery. It's way too hard to get shots with them all looking and smiling at the same time.
Alexis and Avery lounging in the wagon waiting to be pulled to the park.

Chris coaches the Middle School football team so we all went out to watch a game.

The kids had a great time running around on the bleachers. That's Avery on the top left.
And Dax and Gabby (only 2 months apart) had a great time playing together too. Except when they both wanted the same toy, or milk jug.

Give it back!

The cheerleaders gave the kiddos some extra pom pom's.

We spent a rainy day at the Wiggle's Play Center. It was full of slides, bouncers, and all sorts of stuff to climb on. It was a great way to tire out the kids before naptime. After about 5 minutes, though, we had all had enough of the Wiggles music.

The moms! Jen B., Jen S., and me!

We also went to the Texas State Fair and Alexis got her face painted.

Matt and Alex took Trey and Alexis down the big slide. Though her face doesn't show it in this picture she did have a smile on her face by the time she got to the bottom.

Alexis and Trey on the ferris wheel.

The swimming pool was too cold, but the kids enjoyed swimming in the hot tub instead.

And here's baby Reece! At only 2 1/2 months old he spent most of his time swaddled up or in a sling so he didn't get photographed as much as the others.

Alexis and Avery being goofy during their last breakfast together.

As always, our vacations go by way too fast. It's always hard to go home to a quiet house after spending so much time with such a house full of people. Thanks to the Bridghams for hosting and letting us tear up your house! We miss you all very much!
