Happy Valentine's Day! Sorry for the late greeting, but the girls have been taking turns getting sick the last week which means fevers, ear infections, runny noses, 8 breathing treatments a day, and exhaustion have pretty much taken over my photo taking and blog posting time. Our Valentine Weekend was a little unusual, but I guess that's just the way life goes sometimes. Somehow we had our tax appointment scheduled for Saturday morning and due to a no-show babysitter it ended up being a whole family affair. We did manage to sneak in a little of the Valentine's sentiment so here's a little review in pictures.
The girls woke up to balloons and gift bags! Alexis was especially excited since she had seen the balloons at the grocery store the day before and wanted to take one home.
Alex woke up to home-made Valentines of his favorite female feet!
And after a long day of taxes and tending to ill-feeling little ones....I finally got to celebrate with the man I love! (and yes, I did make those all by myself!)
This actually WAS our Valentine's Day Dinner. We had a big lunch and neither one of us were hungry for dinner so we just dined on chocolate covered strawberries! The steak dinner I had planned was eaten Sunday night instead.
