Here's Alexis at 5 months. Recognize the toys? These blocks were the first toys she played with sitting up and now Gabby is playing with the same ones!
Sometimes it seems like just yesterday we were getting excited about her first cereal, hearing her laugh, and watching her begin to sit up...and now she's already 2 1/2!
3 ways she is TOTALLY 2 1/2:
1. Her new favorite phrase is "I want to do it myself!" which applies to EVERYTHING and she can get quite upset if help is given before she asks for it!
2. She wants what she doesn't have, then doesn't want it when she gets it, but wants it when it's taken away, then doesn't want.....and you can see how this goes.
3. She's learning new words and saying more phrases every day. Today when Alex came home she aksed him "How was your day at work daddy?"
3 ways I know she's still my LITTLE girl
1. She begins to panic if she can't find me right away in the house.
2. She still wants to be held before she goes to sleep.
3. And she still has to cuddle with mommy for a few minutes after naptime...this I hope continues for a long time!
