Summer Vacation in Seattle

We got home last Monday from a 10 day vacation in Seattle visiting my parents. It was a wonderful trip....very restful, full of fun, and great weather. It was in the 80's almost the whole time and even got into the 90's our last couple days (which is actually a little hotter than I'd like it when we're trying to escape Arizona heat). The girls had a great time playing with Gramma and Grampa and Alex and I had many opportunities to sneak away and spend some time just the 2 of us. Here are a few highlights from our trip.

My mom and I did the Breast Cancer Race for the Cure downtown. It was a special experience to be able to do this race with my mom as she is a 13 year survivor!

Grampa got to stay home and watch both girls all by himself while we were at the race. Grampa did a great job on his own and even got the Gabriela to take a nap!

Fun bath in the sink!

Thanks, Gramma!

Sweet sisters in matching shirts. They spent a lot of time playing outside since the weather was so beautiful. We could hardly get Aelxis to come in at the end of the day as it didn't even get dark until 10:00pm

Another 4 generations picture.

We spent a few hours at Papa Dave's house playing on his property in Edmonds. Alexis had a great time running around in the woods and exploring.

She collected sticks the whole time.

Thanks for letting us come over and play, Papa Dave!

Cousin Olivia came over to play and was so kind to bring a bike just the right size for Alexis to ride.

My Grandma Pearl came over from Montana to visit too. From left to right: Grandma Pearl, Uncle Mike (my dad's brother), Alex, and my dad.

Thanks for such a great vacation, Gramma and Grampa! Thanks for the fun toys to play with and good food to eat! We love you and miss you!
